Allied Women’s Center, the most successful crisis pregnancy center in San Antonio, is holding its eighth annual benefit gala/banquet on Friday, October 20, 2017 at the Banquet Hall of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in San Antonio.
The keynote speaker for the event will be Richard Thompson, Esq., President and Chief Counsel of the Thomas More Law Center. It “defends and promotes America’s Judeo-Christian heritage and moral values, including the religious freedom, family values, and the sanctity of human life” against their adversaries in the public arena and in the courts. In the pro-life arena, the TMLC has defended the rights of sidewalk counselors against government harassment and participated as a friend of the court in the defense of The Little Sisters of the Poor. Mr. Thompson came to national notoriety as the persevering prosecutor of Jack Kevorkian, who was rightly dubbed “Dr. Death” in the media. Come hear him motivate all of us to keep up the good fight for life!
Governor Greg and Cecilia Abbott have been invited to accept our 2017 Livesaver Award.
The evening will begin with cocktails (cash bar) at 6:00 p.m. The program will start at 7:00 p.m. and is expected to conclude around 9:00-9:15 p.m. The event is open to everyone, especially those who support the local pro-life community. There is NO CHARGE for the general seating or for Hosted tables but requests for voluntary donations and support will be made at the event.
For table hosting/sponsorship or for other registration information, please contact Mike Knuffke at (210) 844-0314 or Joe Bentley at (210) 725-7797.
