Filming of the new movie “Roe V. Wade” is underway this summer.
The movie, which will tell the true story of the lies and manipulations used to push legalized abortion in America, is a project of actor/producer Nick Loeb and Cathy Allyn.
Loeb told the Hollywood Reporter they began shooting June 15 in and around New Orleans, including at Tulane University, as well as in Washington, D.C.
“… no one has really told the whole truth about Roe v. Wade in a film,” Loeb said.
“When I delved into this, I discovered conspiracy theories, fake news, made up statistics and a whole lot of people involved who switched their positions from pro-choice to pro-life, including Norma McCorvey [the “Jane Roe” of Roe v. Wade].”
The film stars Academy Award-winning actor Jon Voight, Robert Davi and Stacey Dash, as well as Greer Grammer, the daughter of pro-life actor Kelsey Grammer. Alveda King, the niece of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., also is an executive producer and has a cameo in the film.
