Pope sees Kim-Trump meeting as example of “culture of encounter”

Encounter of Trump and Kim in the DMZ applauded by Pope Francis as an example that might help lead to (world) peace.

They met at the “Freedom House,” on the South Korean side of the border. South Korean President, Moon Jae-in, was present for a short time.

KimJong-un and U.S. President Donald Trump met for about four hours in the “demilitarized zone” where POTUS Trump took about 12 steps on the North Korean side becoming the first ever sitting US President walk on North Korean soil.
