San Antonio Passes Far-Reaching Antidiscrimination Measure

TODAY: 6th anniversary of the unjust NDO! What started with the government mandated acceptance of unhealthy & unnatural lifestyles in the so-called “Non-Discrimination Ordinance” has become the official “core value” of the City of San Antonio according to current Councilmen, Manny Pelaez and Roberto Trevino in March of 2019.

Along with Mayor Ron Nirenberg, these two convinced a majority of the Council to ban Chick-Fil-A from the SAT International Airport because Chick-Fil-A is not in conformity with the NDO and the core values of the CoSA…. According to these progressively ideologically-focused local politicians Chick-fil-A is a symbol of hate as the owner has expressed his deeply held religious convictions that he believes in marriage between a man & a woman.

They continued by saying that the business gives to “anti-LGBT” Christian organizations like the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Salvation Army which is contrary to the NDO.

The Council vote was passed and now Airline travelers cannot buy good Chick-fil-A meals at the airport concessions like they can in other Texas Cities’ airports like DFW and HOU.

This causes a reduction in good food choices and loses tax revenue that potential could help lower local resident tax burdens.

This measure discriminates against Christian business owners and their religious beliefs and conscience rights. It is an attempt to bully other faith-based business owners into complying socialized government mandates that infringe on their First Amendment rights’ freedom of religion. The NDO is unjust and actually promotes more inequality and division.

This is a tragic memorial in San Antonio that is juxtaposed to its real heritage.
