Remembering the First Known CoSA ProLife, ProHomeowner Victory

TODAY IN 2015: The very last vote for CoSA Council for the calendar year was the first known pro-life & pro-homeowner victory!

After more than 18 months of dedicated work, SAFA, with lots of support from concerned citizens and Mike Gallagher (Councilman D10) helped convince the SA Mayor Ivy Taylor and the majority of SA Council to support the floor amendment to the UDC proposed by Councilman Gallagher. The amendment proposed to protect established residential neighborhoods from improperly zoned ambulatory surgical centers like PPST moving in adjacent to family homes like at 2140 Babcock adjacent to Dreamhill Estates.

This is the first ever known pro-homeowner & pro-life city ordinance in the history of the City of San Antonio to protect families from being ripped apart through land use protections.

It was also the very last vote of 2015 for the SA Council. It was a great early Christmas gift!

Bad zoning laws hurt families!
