SAFA is a non-profit association which educates on and advocates for family values in the local and regional community.
Today SAFA is engaged in promoting the cause of life, seeking social justice for the unborn, and educating the public in support of the traditional family, natural family planning, and how to create a culture of life and family in San Antonio and the State of Texas.
SAFA Activities & Accomplishments:
2018
• Facilitated and led the San Antonio Rally for Life on January 21, 2018
• On the Host Committee for the statewide 2018 Texas Rally for Life on January 27, 2018. Joined thousands of people from across the state to commemorate the U.S. Supreme Court’s tragic Roe v. Wade decision that made abortion legal in Texas and across the nation throughout all nine months of pregnancy.
• Texas Family initiative hosted Protect Texas Children Symposium in Feb 2018
• Passed 3 Planks in the Republican Party of Texas Convention to stop pornography and planned promiscuity from being shown and taught to public school children
• Educated on Bexar County Commissioners Court granting special class protections to unnatural lifestyles which attack the family, promote unhealthy lifestyles choices, and will lead to domestic failure with the revision to the Bexar County Human Resources Policy 7.101 Equal Employment
• Hosted Annual Fiesta Easter Egg Hunt & Family Fun Day
• Held the San Antonio “Sex Ed Sit Out” and press conference on April 23, 2018, joining parents around the nation in protesting dangerous and graphic sex education, especially the NEISD’s use of Draw the Line, Respect the Line for middle school students and Big Decisions for high school students.
• Held a pro-life protest against Planned Parenthood South Texas’ annual luncheon
• Educated on CoSA’s liberal, socialist agenda (Pride Day, Pride Parade, rainbow crosswalk)
• Educated on CoSA appointment of abortionist C. Junda Woo as local health authority
• Educated on the importance of prudently using tax payer dollars to uphold the bedrock of society, marriage and protect the building block of society, family
• Raised $18,00 for GRN via our annual Dove Hunt and SAFA Matching Hour on GRN Share-a-Thon
• Facilitated and led the LifeChainSA on Oct. 7, 2018 for the 5th consecutive year educating on and encouraging people to Unite for Life by being first and foremost Pro-Woman, Pro-Child, Pro-Life
• Educated on problems with the NEISD Sex Ed curriculum
• Hosted National Day of Remembrance of Aborted Children
• Marriage Rallies
• 52 First Amendment Fridays promoting good health for women and safety in the womb for unborn persons – 3 saves and multiple women re-directed to dignified women’s healthcare practices
• Educated State Legislators on the importance of protecting family homes and residential neighborhoods
• Educated SA to remember, via Marriage Musters and Pro-life Musters, the official changes in City condoning and embracing unnatural lifestyles, promoting “unplanned pregnancy services” chemical abortions and twisted arts; and cohabitation (heterosexual and homosexual) before marriage, pre-marital sex and chemical sterilization of teen girls, undermining of Christian Federal Holiday, Columbus Day with the passage of Indigenous Peoples Day in cooperation with UNESCO that promotes neo-Paganism

• Educated on the importance of the protection of women and children via Privacy Protection Rally at the Capitol to educate and encourage lawmakers to pass SB3
• Facilitated and Led the LifeChainSA on Oct. 1, 2017 for the 4th consecutive year educating on and encouraging people to Unite for Life by being first and foremost Pro-Woman, Pro-Child, Pro-Life
• Educated on the city’s use of taxpayer funds to sterilize poor teen girls (Medicaid Waiver program 1115)
• Educated on improper use of taxpayer funds on projects like the pagan goddess statue “Plethora”, moving the Confederate monument from Travis Park, re-naming Robert E. Lee High School
• Suggested the acronym “L.E.E” High School as the new name for Robert E. Lee High School in order to save taxpayer money in the renaming of the school
• Educated on CoSA’s liberal, socialist agenda (Paris Climate Agreement, Medicaid Waiver 1115 program, Pride Day, Pride Parade, rainbow crosswalk)
• Educated on importance of proper burial of aborted children and encouraged others to show their support
• Educated on the importance of prudently using tax payer dollars to uphold the bedrock of society, marriage and protect the building block of society, family during new SAISD NDO (Special rights protection and Public Bathrooms) debate
• Raised $50,523 for GRN via our annual Dove Hunt and SAFA Matching Hour on GRN Share-a-Thon
• Held a “Blue out Muster” against Planned Parenthood South Texas’ luncheon
• Hosted The Silver Ring Thing, a teen abstinence program
• Hosted Annual Fiesta Easter Egg Hunt & Family Fun Day
• Exposed improper zoning in City of San Antonio and had the Google Hut removed from Haskin Park

• CoSA stopped funding of Depo Provera after SAFA’s continued education to the Council about how bad it is for women
• NEISD Sex Ed exposure of 11-13 year olds to thoughts and promotion of sexual activity prematurely and to engage in before marriage as safe as abstinence as long as use condom, etc. (NEISD Board of Trustees Vote May 9, 2016)

2015
• As members of the Streetcar Coalition, helped stop tremendous waste of tax payer dollars on local light rail that was stealing away important public bus transportation for poor families in SA
• Helped educate successfully on the election of a pro-life Mayor of San Antonio
• Saved 1,187 babies lives delaying the opening of the new Planned Parenthood South Texas abortuary for 106 days
• Exposed improper zoning and special abortion business favoritism in City of San Antonio and passed Building-related and Fire Code Appeals and Advisory Board (BRFCAAB) Resolution recommending the Mayor and Council review the Base Zoning of 2140 Babcock
• Passed new City legislation requiring mandatory public notification and hearings of, thereby restricting the location of future abortion facilities
• Grew Life Chain SA to over 2,000+ participants
• Ultrasound Machine led to the saving of even more babies’ lives
• Raised $51,500 for GRN via our annual Dove Hunt
• Held a “Blue out Muster” against Planned Parenthood South Texas’ luncheon

• Took over leadership of Life Chain SA and grew it
• Ultrasound Machine led to the saving of even more babies’ lives
• Began fight for peace to protect women and children from the new Planned Parenthood South Texas Ambulatory Surgical Center abortuary
• Raised $34,500 for GRN via our annual Dove Hunt
• Held a “Blue out Muster” against Planned Parenthood South Texas’ luncheon
• Hosted Annual Fiesta Easter Egg Hunt & Community Fair
2013
• Led Father & Son Club to increase parental relationships;
• Educated on the importance of prudently using tax payer dollars to uphold the bedrock of society, marriage and protect the building block of society, family during new NDO (Special rights protection and Public Bathrooms) debate
• Testified (two Weeks in Austin) and educated on importance of HB2 to protect women and children
• Mission Sonogram’s Ultrasound Machine led to the saving of 33 babies’ lives
• Began “More Statesmen” to educate and develop wise Statesmen to be active in the public square and run for elected office
• Raised $29,575 for GRN via our annual Dove Hunt
• Held a “Blue out Muster” against Planned Parenthood South Texas’ luncheon
2012
• Led Father & Son Club to increase parental relationships
• Led Biblical Studies to help people increase their relationship with God and to become an active witness of The Faith
• Educated and promoted “Green Sex” as a natural alternative to the City of San Antonio and informed about Healthy Futures of Texas promotion of hormonal contraception
• Educated on importance of parental rights and school choice at City of San Antonio during PreK4SA debate
• Raised $54,000 to purchase a new Ultrasound Machine for Mission Sonogram / Allied Women’s Center that helped save 23 babies’ lives, including a set of twins
• Began ProLife “Blue Out Musters” in San Antonio
• Raised $24,500 for GRN via our annual Dove Hunt
• Held a “Blue out Muster” against Planned Parenthood South Texas’ luncheon
2011
• Led Father & Son Club to increase parental relationships
