Call To Action – KLRN PBS Station Arthur Same-Sex Wedding Info

Parents Beware!
Consider acting on this to Protect Texas Children and all children throughout the USA…

Please urge KLRN to stop airing Arthur. As a result of the same-sex wedding featured on the show, we no longer trust Arthur as a safe children’s series.

Detailed Summary and Complaint to our local PBS station, KLRN :

We want the complete removal of the children’s television series, Arthur, from KLRN. As a tax paying community, we have come together to unequivocally reject PBS KIDS Arthur series because of their season 22 premiere, “Mr. Ratburn and the Special Someone.” We no longer
want our tax dollars to be used for this type of controversial political programming, aimed at children.

This episode was a shocking surprise to our community. Arthur, the friendly little aardvark, and his friends have dug a deep pit and have slyfully introduced our little ones to the foreign world of same sex marriage. Most of this episode was presented in a very innocent and somewhat mysterious manner aimed at attracting the attention of children: Arthur and his friends are merely curious about Mr. Ratburn’s new “soulmate.” As this episode approaches its end, however, what would have
previously been deemed as innocent, transforms into a vile and highly disagreeable subject that no child should be forced to observe: Mr. Ratburn is marrying someone of the same sex. The issue at hand is similar to that of a toddler or child being offered sweet candy in a very pleasing manner, with the end result being that it is highly poisonous.

We as a community have lost our trust in the programming KLRN chooses for our children. We previously believed that KLRN’s childrens’ programming was safe for our children and did not require adult supervision; however, these previous ideas have now proven to be erroneous. Instead of exploring science and technology, engineering, mathematics, and the fine arts, KLRN is allowing programming that is teaching young children about the Supreme Court’s ruling on
homosexual “marriage.” While the Netherlands and other foreign nations are working hard to try to beat the United States by becoming the next Silicon Valley of robotics and unmanned aerial vehicles, KLRN is making our children LGBT literate and intellectually inferior. We do not want
our children to be literate in the LGBTTQQIAAP alphabet. What will KLRN allow our children to observe next? A theme about dealing with gender neutral bathrooms? According to the Supreme court, abortion is also legal. Is PBS, along with KLRN, going to introduce a new Arthur episode where he has to deal with his mother’s abortion? Or perhaps even worse, the unplanned pregnancy of a young teenage mother? We do not want
our 3-year-olds’ tender, innocent minds exposed to these foreign political issues. Please do not run away from our request! We want the best for our children. We no longer want the children’s television series, Arthur,
aired on KLRN.
