5th Circuit Helps Thwart System Racism
#DefundingPlannedParenthood The full 5th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that #Texas and #Louisiana can end Medicaid funding for abortion giant Planned Parenthood. The circuit court reversed a three-judge panel that had blocked Texas from enforcing its #ProLife provision. “Planned Parenthood is not a ‘qualified’ provider under the Medicaid Act, and it should not receive public funding through the Medicaid program,” said Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.
While the ruling expressly reversed decisions in Texas and Louisiana, it also affects Mississippi.
