COVID BILL
The House secured final passage of the $1.9 trillion coronavirus aid bill. The legislation provides a new round of $1,400 stimulus checks, enhanced unemployment benefits, and expanded child tax credits. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy explained why not a single House Republican voted for the bill. “It isn’t a relief bill. It’s a laundry list of left-wing priorities that predate the pandemic and do not meet the needs of American families.”
