‘CHILD SACRIFICE’
Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone of San Francisco denounced abortion, calling it “child sacrifice,” as House Democrats plan a vote on Friday on the so-called Women’s Health Protection Act.
The legislation would abolish state pro-life laws, force medical professionals to assist in abortions, and ensure taxpayer funding for abortions during all nine months of pregnancy. “Any reasonable person with a basic sense of morality and inkling of decency cannot but shudder in horror at such a heinous evil being codified in law,” Cordileone said.
