MINNESOTA GOP MAKES PLAY FOR PARENTS
Republican lawmakers in Minnesota introduced a series of parental education rights bills Monday.
The five bills would enhance parental notification requirements for public schools regarding students’ curricula and activities, as well as require schools to inform parents of their rights to review educational materials.
The lawmakers also introduced a bill that would establish education savings accounts, allowing parents to directly access taxpayer-funded education dollars to pay for educational expenses at schools of their choice.
