COVID-19 vaccine mandates “imposed severe restrictions on the lives of many citizens and business owners,” researchers wrote in a new study from George Mason University’s Mercatus Center.
“Yet, we find no evidence that the mandates were effective in their intended goals of reducing COVID-19 cases and deaths.”
The study evaluated New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, New Orleans, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington, D.C.
MAINSTREAM STUDY: MASKS DIDN’T WORK
“There’s still no evidence that masks are effective during a pandemic.”
That was the conclusion of a Cochrane Review analysis recently released and circulated even by legacy media outlets. “Cochrane Reviews are widely considered the gold standard of evidence-based medicine,” wrote Slate’s Liz Highleyman.
“The paper—a rigorous assessment of 78 studies—was published by Cochrane, an independent policy institution that has become well known for its reviews,” acknowledged The Atlantic’s Yasmin Tayag.
