TEXAS POISED TO PROTECT KIDS FROM ‘TRANS’ SURGERY
The Texas Legislature on Wednesday passed a bill that would forbid doctors to subject children to sexual surgeries and other treatments associated with so-called “gender-affirming care.”
If Republican Gov. Greg Abbott signs the bill into law, Texas would become the 18th state – and the largest – to enact measures protecting minors from LGBTQ-backed medical practices.
