Congressional Bill Would Recognize Unborn Babies as Legal “Persons” Entitled to Equal Protection
A new U.S. Congressional bill calls on lawmakers and the U.S. Supreme Court to restore legal protections to unborn babies nationwide through the 14th Amendment.
On Monday, U.S. Reps. Doug Lamborn, R-Colorado, and Debbie Lesko, R-Arizona, introduced the Recognizing Life Resolution (House Resolution 464) to acknowledge “that unborn children are legal and constitutional persons who are entitled to the equal protection of the laws,” Colorado Springs Indy reports.
