In 2015, SAFA along with many other organizations and thousands of pro-life people helped save 1187 babies lives and preserved that many mothers’ health by delaying the construction of a Planned Parenthood center by 106 business days! Sadly, soon after SAFA’s lawsuit against Planned Parenthood South Texas and it’s façade company, Delantero, that also included the City of San Antonio for improper zoning was withdrawn by the plaintiff, a Dreamhill Estates resident, the Texas HHS allowed Planned Parenthood South Texas to go fully operational and preformed its first known surgical abortion on July 7, 2015.

On June 27, 2016, the Supreme Court struck down Texas law HB2, which required an abortionist to have hospital admitting privileges and an abortion facility to have equipment similar to other surgery centers, both of which would help keep women and babies safe.
