300 Years of San Antonio

300 years of San Antonio! This week we remember the Alamo along with the rest of San Antonio’s history as part of the 300th birthday celebration. The history of San Antonio is fascinating and complex. The city was founded in 1718 when Spanish settlers built the Mission San Antonio de Valero — today known as the Alamo — along the San Antonio River.
