Why to vote for #PropA: improper zoning for ‘Planned Parenthood’ South Texas

Proposition A is incredibly important to make Government More Accountable to Citizens. Consider voting FOR Prop A. The Referendum Amendment to the charter will bring it back in line with where it was from 1951-1996 in SA and also more in line with the Texas State Statute for General Law (Non-Home Rule) Cities and even the Home Rule City of Austin.

2140 Babcock is improperly zoned to be the abortuary for Planned Parenthood South Texas. After over a year of hard work, SAFA helped pass the first ever pro-life ordinance in SA on December 17, 2015 to protect family homes and residential neighborhoods from having abortion facilities allowed to move in next to them in C1 zoned areas. After 5 clear zoning and land use violations were exposed, a new ordinance to the unified development code was implemented requiring a specific use permit for medical and dental offices to move into commercial one zoned areas to protect the sanctuary of family life and home property values. The City finally admitted they made a mistake and wouldn’t let it happen again. . . that statement was repeated when the City violated more land-use and zoning laws when it allowed Google fiber huts into City Parks without proper permitting. Prop A can help hold City government more accountable to the people. Think about it.
