CNN Sues The White House Over Jim Acosta’s Revoked Press Credentials

CNN filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration Tuesday after the White House revoked White House interrogator and correspondent Jim Acosta’s press credentials.

“The wrongful revocation of these credentials violates CNN and Acosta’s First Amendment rights of freedom of the press and their Fifth Amendment rights to due process,” CNN said in a statement.

Acosta is still free to write under the Freedom of the Press, just not at the White House.

“We have asked this court for an immediate restraining order requiring the pass be returned to Jim, and will seek permanent relief as part of this process.”

Does the White House now get to file a lawsuit against the Fake News he rights and due process?
