University of Notre Dame to cover murals of Christopher Columbus

The #UniversityOfNotreDame is set to cover a series of historic #ChristopherColumbus murals prominently displayed in a central building on campus.

Notre Dame President #RevJohnJenkins announced Sunday that Columbus’s arrival to the new world “was nothing short of a #Catastrophe” for the #Native peoples.

The expert historian in below post needs to help #FrJohnJenkins understand the truth.

“Whatever else Columbus’s arrival brought, for these peoples it led to #Exploitation,#Expropriation of land, #Repression of vibrant cultures, #Enslavement, and new #Diseases causing #Epidemics that killed millions,” Jenkins stated.

FrJenkins is wrong for telling the false narrative of the progressive left about #Columbus.

Colubus was not about imperialism like many propagate,

rather he was all about evangelization of the new world, he never would have wished harm on the new world that he was hoping to save.

In fact, in his last will and testament, Columbus left money to educate the #Indians before they ever converted to #Catholicism.
