Senate Democrats Block Bill Prohibiting Infanticide

Sen. #PattyMurray, D-WA, has objected to a proposal by Sen. #BenSasse, R-NE, to fast-track passage of the #BornAliveAbortionSurvivorProtectionAct, which would ensure infants who survive abortion are provided medicare care.

Because of her objection, Sen. Sasse will now try another route to advance his legislation.

Senate Majority Leader #McConnell indicated he’s open to a floor vote.
