Family of Covington teen nails Washington Post with a massive lawsuit

The family of the #CovingtonCatholic teen has sued the #WashingtonPost for $250 million, claiming that the newspaper “#Ignored basic #JournalistStandards.”

The lawsuit is the first in a #Series of #Planned lawsuits, said attorneys #LinWood and #ToddMcMurtry.

The lawsuit claims that the Washington Post “wrongfully targeted and bullied #Nicholas because he was the #White, #Catholic student wearing a #Red ‘#MakeAmericaGreatAgain’ souvenir cap on a school field trip to the January 18 #MarchForLife in Washington, D.C.”

Maybe if the media is held accountable by losing these cases, they may be more fair and diligent in their reporting?
