United Methodist Church upholds position against homosexuality, same-sex marriage

Protestant Church reaffirms #Marriage.

The #UnitedMethodistChurch, one of the largest Protestant denominations in the United States, reaffirmed the traditional doctrine on #Marriage and that “#Homosexuality is contrary to #Christian teaching.”

Conservative Mark Tooley said the vote rescued his church from a similar fate of “#Imploding USA Mainline Protestants.”
