The Latest: Structure of Notre-Dame Saved After Major Fire

Tragedy strikes #France, but….

Reports indicate that the major religious and artistic treasures of the cathedral were removed as the fire began, including a relic of the #CrownOfThorns.

Etienne Loraillère, an editor at France’s KTO Catholic Television, reported that “#FrFournier, chaplain of the Paris #Firefighters, went with the firefighters into #NotreDameCathedral to save the #Crown of #Thorns and the #BlessedSacrament.”

Sometimes it takes strife in life to wake us up. We hope the #Christians of #France and #Europe, in general, are awakened by this tragedy and have a true conversion of their hearts back to the Chruch.
