Federal Court Rules Against Catholic Foster Care Agency

A federal appeals court ruled that the #CityOfPhiladelphia is allowed to bar #CatholicSocialServices from finding families for #Foster children because the organization would not renounce its #Religious beliefs about #Marriage and #Family.

In #SharonellFulton, et al. v. #CityOfPhiladelphia, the court upheld a city policy that #Prevents Catholic Social Services from finding families for foster children, according to a press release from #BecketLaw.
