Judge reopens Covington Catholic High student’s defamation suit against Washington Post
A federal judge reopened the $250 million defamation lawsuit filed by Covington Catholic high school student Nicholas Sandmann against The Washington Post.
District Judge William O. Bertelsman’s new ruling was based on an amended complaint filed by Sandmann’s legal team. “Nicholas Sandmann deserves his day in court against WaPo. Now he will get it,” said Lin Wood, attorney for the Sandmann family.
