Worse than COVID?

Even progressive pro-abortion, pro-contraception UNICEF warned that the lockdown could end up killing more people than the coronavirus. One model suggests that the lockdowns are contributing to a 45% rise in child mortality or as many as 1.2 million child deaths.

“Indiscriminate lockdown measures do not have an optimal effect on the virus,” said Dr. Stefan Peterson, chief of health at UNICEF. He noted that in some countries the public aren’t getting the basic care they need because they’re avoiding hospitals and health centers for fear of picking up COVID-19.
