ABORTION VOTE
Senate Democrats failed to pass the Women’s Health Protection Act in a 46-48 vote Monday. The bill needed 60 votes to break a GOP-led filibuster.
CatholicVote President Brian Burch denounced the bill. “Catholics are repulsed and disgusted by the Democratic political charade which sought to ram through the most extreme abortion law ever contemplated,” he said.
CatholicVote compiled a list of how the Senate’s 25 Catholic members voted on the abortion bill.
