AUTO COMPANIES VS. ELECTION REFORM?
Executives from Ford, General Motors, and other Michigan-based corporations sent a warning shot across the bow of the state’s GOP lawmakers Tuesday as the legislature considers a bill against election fraud. “Government must avoid actions that reduce participation in elections,” read a statement signed by dozens of corporate executives, “particularly among historically disenfranchised communities, persons with disabilities, older adults, racial minorities, and low-income voters.”
