Barr authorizes DOJ to look into only ‘substantial allegations’ of voting ‘irregularities’ of 2020 elections.

Attorney General William Barr gave authorization to the Department of Justice to investigate “substantial allegations of voting and vote tabulation irregularities … that, if true, could potentially impact the outcome of a federal election in an individual State,” Barr said. Irregularities that would “clearly not impact the outcome” should wait until after the election is certified, he said.

An election worker in Detroit and a Republican poll watcher claimed that they witnessed potential voter fraud in sworn affidavits in a lawsuit filed in Detroit. Jessy Jacob, a city employee, testified government employees were coaching voters on whom to vote for. “I directly observed, on a daily basis, City of Detroit election workers and employees coaching and trying to coach voters to vote for Joe Biden and the Democrat Party. I witnessed these workers and employees encouraging voters to do a straight Democrat ballot,” Jacob said.
