BISHOP TELLS ROGUE PRIEST TO CANCEL ‘PRIDE MASS’
Bishop David Zubik of Pittsburgh is calling for a “Pride Mass” to be canceled, emphasizing that “independent sponsors” promoted the event to coincide with the secular Pride Month.
Fliers for the event stated it would be a ministry of St. Mary Magdalene Parish, where Pastor Tom Burke and coordinator Vicki Sheridan operate an “LGBTQ+ ministry.”
Sheridan has several children who are “part of the LGBTQ community,” according to the Pittsburgh City Paper.
