City Leaders Celebrate SB 4 Ruling, Ready to Continue Fight, John Courage Standing in Support of Sanctuary Cities.

The dichotomy of this situation is incredible. These City leaders are for big, centralized government protections except when it comes to immigration. Yes, immigration has to be centralized and controlled by the federal government for national border security.

John Courage (D9 Councilman), the Mayor, and other Councilmen except Clayton Perry, D10, are standing in support of SA as a sanctuary city which places SA citizens at greater risk of harm by illegal alien criminals.

However, John Courage campaigned for 100% safety for District 9 residents.

Federal Judge Orlando Garcia, graduate of St. Mary’s Law School, has unilaterally ruled to temporarily stop Senate Bill 4. Judge Garcia was the same judge who unilaterally overturned the Texas marriage law back in Feb. 2015.

SB4 was passed by the Texas Legislature and signed into law by Gov. Greg Abbott earlier this year.
