DEFUND THE POLICE, AND BLAME THEM?
Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-MN, has been one of the strongest supporters of the Defund the Police movement and has said “we need to completely dismantle the Minneapolis Police Department.”
But now she’s blaming the police for the rising crime rates in Minneapolis. Speaking at a town hall in Minneapolis, Omar said:
“The police have chosen to not fulfill their oath of office and to provide the public safety they are owed to the citizens they serve, right? …. The Minneapolis Police Department is the most dysfunctional police department, in our state and probably in the country.”
