Democrats Drop ‘Child Take Away’ Bill
Amid fierce backlash, a Virginia Democrat has decided against introducing legislation that would empower the state of Virginia to remove children who identify as LGBT and suffer “mental injury” because their parents do not affirm their identity.
House of Delegates member Elizabeth Guzman said the original bill was designed to “help” parents “go by what the Bible says” and accept transgender ideology.
