Disney CEO Bob Chapek said he called Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-FL, “to express our disappointment and concern” that a bill which bans teaching very young children progressive sex and gender ideology “could be used to unfairly target gay, lesbian, non-binary, and transgender kids and families.”

Speaking to supporters soon after the call, DeSantis said: “When you have companies that have made a fortune being family-friendly and catering to families and young kids, you know, they should understand that parents of young kids do not want this injected into their kid’s kindergarten classroom.”
