Florida Abortion Statistics Debunk Common Pro-Choice Argument

Actual abortion statistics: there were 70,000 abortions in Florida last year alone.

Data collected from the State of Florida shows that three quarters of the abortions were classified as “elective” and 20 percent listed “social or economic reasons” as the justification.

Alexandra DeSanctis notes: “Only zero point 14 percent (0.14%) of women reported having obtained an abortion due to having been raped, and only zero point 1 percent (0.01%) took place in cases of incest.”

These are the actual numbers and they cannot be disputed.
