FLORIDA’S NEW LAW ‘SCARES’ TEACHER

Florida kindergarten teacher Cory Bernaert told an interviewer that he is anxious that he may no longer be able to talk about his love life with students after Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-FL, signed a law prohibiting sexual discussions with very young children at school.

“It scares me that I am not going to be able to have these conversations with my children,” Bernaert said, citing his relationship with a male “partner.” Kindergarteners will ask him, “what does ‘partner’ mean, Mr. Bernaert?” the teacher said. “Can I tell them what it means?”
