FREE TO PROTEST
A federal judge ruled that the City of Baltimore cannot prevent St. Michael’s Media, which produces Church Militant TV, from renting a pavilion and organizing a protest on Nov. 16, when the U.S. bishops are holding their national meeting.
“The judge clearly took her time to ensure that she got the constitutional issues right,” said Marc Randazza, attorney for St. Michael’s Media. “I think that this is a great victory for the First Amendment.”
