HALF OF U.S. POISED TO PROTECT UNBORN
Close to half of the states in the U.S. are already poised to increase protections for the unborn in the event that the Supreme Court officially repeals Roe v. Wade, according to pro-abortion research firm the Guttmacher Institute.
Twenty-three states “have laws that could be used to restrict the legal status of abortion,” Guttmacher reports, and “13 states have post-Roe laws to ban all or nearly all abortions that would be triggered if Roe were overturned.”
