Help Defend Female Athletes
Help Defend Female Women Athletes From COSA
To: City of San Antonio Mayor & Council
Date: Sept. 30, 2021
In response to today’s A Session Agenda Item 30 in which there is a Resolution that promotes “transgendered” boys compete in girls’ sports.
Boys & Girls are equal yet different. It is unfair and unjust to females, discriminates against girls defined by biological sex, and robs girls of their dignity.
Therefore, we propose the following Citizens’ Resolution for Dignity of Women & Female Athletes.
WHEREAS, every human being is created in the image of God, being made either male or female, with their dignity inherent in their person as designed by God and not subject to autonomous redefinition or the open to be defined by psychological disorders such as gender dysphoria, and
WHEREAS, the biological differences of the sexes has naturally and historically been recognized as definitional and the reason for young girls and boys, and women and men being segregated in restrooms, showers, and sporting events for the purposes of protecting the dignity of the sexes and preventing physical abuse and harm to women, and
WHEREAS, the City of San Antonio is now committed to discriminating against young girls and women by supporting the fiction of transgenderism and forcing such young girls and women to compete against physically stronger boys and men, and
WHEREAS, such measures by the City of San Antonio creates an unsafe environment in schools, in that affirming the fiction of transgenderism, young girls and women are placed in the awkward and at times dangerous position of sharing restrooms, showers, and close physical contact in sports with biological boys and men, who despite their claims to be “trans” still maintain a male biology which exposes such girls and women to the most intimate parts of male biology, and
WHEREAS, studies have demonstrated that hormone treatments and surgical procedures have not resolved the higher incidence of isolation, depression, and suicide noted among those who suffer from gender dysphoria, and
WHEREAS, biological sex and gender are inextricably connected to promote a discontinuity between the two harms not only the individual who can never achieve an actual transition from one sex to another, but also harms society as a whole, in that a fiction is forced on the public in contradiction to actual human design, nature and biology, and
WHEREAS, such a fiction radically redefines what it means to be human not only biologically, but also in the most transcendent aspect of human nature, such an affirmation from the City of San Antonio is also a discriminatory act against the sincerely held and scientifically supported beliefs of a large portion of the faith community in the San Antonio, being an affront not only to the body, but to the very soul as created in the image of God, male and female, and
WHEREAS, the State of Texas is attempting to pass legislation consistent with immutable, innate, and inherent biological realities and in the process striving to protect young girls and women from being discriminated in athletics and exposed to male biological differences in the locker room and shower, the San Antonio Family Association supports the passage of SB 29 and opposes the City of San Antonio’s purposed Ordinance or Resolution due to the harm it commits against people suffering from gender dysphoria, the harm it causes young girls and women in competitive sports, showers and restrooms, and due to the affront such a
fictional view of human nature and sexuality is to the sincerely held religious beliefs of those who would be forced to accommodate such a fiction and thus promote a form of religious discrimination.
NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED BY CITIZENS OF SAN ANTONIO AND THE SAN ANTONIO FAMILY ASSOCIATION:
1. To call on the Mayor and Council of the City of San Antonio to reject purposed resolution (A Session Agenda Item 30, Sept. 30, 2021) for the reasons stated above.
2. To call on the Mayor and Council of the City of San Antonio to not discriminate against young girls and women, but rather to protect them and affirm the beauty of biological, natural, and designed femininity, by not affirming the subjection of said young girls and women to physical competition against stronger biological males or exposing them to the intimate parts of male physiology in showers, locker rooms and bathrooms.
3. To call on the people of San Antonio to join in actively opposing the tyranny being perpetuated by such ordinances and/or resolutions.
