Interview of Mayor Ron Nirenberg by Trey Ware
Speaking of the renegotiation of the North American Free Trade Agreement, Mayor Nirenberg said “the first and most important rule is do no harm.” Mayor Nirenberg’s use of this famous line from the physicians’ Hippocratic Oath is ironic given his recent support of Medicaid 1115 Waiver Program, a program that uses taxpayer money to provide teen girls with long acting contraceptives despite the risks to the girls’ physical and emotional health. “Do no harm” – except to poor teen girls.
Later in the interview, the Mayor said that while he is unsure about the SAMDH proposal to increase the tobacco age requirement from 18-21, we should help protect young people and encourage healthy living choices. Again, Mayor Nirenberg is showing incredible duplicity when it comes to health and sex. He is promoting his ally “Planned Parenthood’s” planned perversion and promiscuity tools to teens, especially poor teen girls, some who might be immigrants or even dreamers, rather than promoting their health.
