KY Supreme Court Rules In Favor Of Print Shop Owner Who Refused To Print Messages Violating His Beliefs
The Kentucky Supreme Court ruled 6-0 that a print shop owner does not have to print messages that violate his deeply-held religious beliefs.
In 2012, Blaine Adamson politely declined a request to print shirts for the Lexington Gay Pride Festival and referred the Gay and Lesbian Services Organization to another printer willing to print the shirts.
The GLSO filed a complaint against Adamson’s business.
