SAFA v. CoSA Lawsuit to STOP Taxpayer-Funded Abortion Travel

Lead plaintiff in the lawsuit against the City of San Antonio over the “Reproductive Justice Fund” that was contrived after a $20,000,000 CPS Energy windfall payment back to the CoSA where the pro-abortion radicals decided to implement taxpayer-paid abortion travel to help pregnant young women murder their babies outside of Texas:

  • case is now being reviewed by the Fourth Court of Appeals currently
  • SA Mayor & City Council Members continue to look for ways to use taxpayer dollars to fund abortion travel “navigation” like the City’s Community Health Committee (CHC) meeting on Jan. 23rd when the City Councilwomen on the CHC tried but failed (2-1-1) to carve out another $100,000 to find abortion travel.
  • our legal case will most likely go before the Supreme Court of Texas this year

Small Victory FOR LIFE: CoSA Community Health Committee VOTES DOWN the ‘downstreaming’ so-called ‘reproductive justice fund’ 2-1-1 with 1 absent – January 23, 2025

Thanks to the SAFA lawsuit against CoSA’s unethical & immoral actions of abusing tax revenue to traffic young pregnant women out of TX to buy an elective abortion to kill their baby and the upcoming SA Mayor & Council elections on May 3, the motion to use $100,000 for abortion navigation FAILED.

Pro-Abortion Councilwoman Teri Castillo (D5): FOR

  • she is heavily favored to win re-election

Pro-Abortion Phyllis Viagran (District3): FOR

  • she will most likely win re-election handily

Pro-Abortion Councilwoman
Arocha Garza (District4): ABSTAINED

  • she’s running for Mayor

Pro-Abortion Councilwoman Maria Alderete-Gavito (District7): AGAINST

  • she’s concerned about her re-election and emphatically she’s “Pro-Choice” but thinks this is a state issue and taxpayer money shouldn’t be used for abortion trafficking

Pro-Abortion Councilwoman Suhk Kaur: ABSENT on city business in Paris on the taxpayer dime

  • she might request another mtg and have the agenda re-considered

Pro-Abortion Councilwoman Havrda, who is not on the Committee but is running for Mayor, sent in her letter of support of abortion trafficking with taxpayer funds
