Loudoun Board Votes to Conceal Report

The school board in Loudoun County, Virginia, voted Tuesday night to keep the findings of an independent report on sexual assault private.

The report focused on how the district responded to two sexual assault incidents in 2021. A 15-year-old “gender fluid” male student pleaded guilty after raping a 14-year-old girl in the girls’ bathroom at one school.

He allegedly sexually assaulted another girl at a different school in Loudoun County after officials failed to sufficiently respond to the first incident.
