Man Admits Shooting Pro-Lifer: No Charges yet

A 74-year-old Michigan man admitted to shooting an 84-year-old pro-life canvasser, but still is not facing charges. The shooter told a news interviewer that he accidentally shot the elderly volunteer in the front of her shoulder while trying to “club” away her clipboard with his .22 rifle.

The victim, who remains anonymous, claimed he shot her from behind, as she was leaving. The man was defiant about shooting the woman, saying she was “having a great old time” before he threatened her with a “warning shot.”

Asked if he’s afraid of facing charges, he said: “It’s always possible, I mean I shot someone.”
