NEISD Dad Filed Grievance is Now School Board Trustee
The NEISD Dad who filed this grievance is now a School Board Trustee. Steve Hilliard is a dad who wants more Parental Control in the ISD. He wants to protect children, including his own, from the terrible, radical, graphic and age-inappropriate SexEd Curriculum content for 11-13 year olds. The NEISD Board adopted “Planned Parenthood’s” affiliate in California, ETR’s “Draw The Line / Respect The Line” sex education curriculum on May 9, 2016. Hilliard filed the grievance in 2018 and was elected to the Board of Trustees in November 2020. The progressive Board used the onerous Grievance Process as an opportunity to belittle their independent-thinking Colleague. For stated personal reasons, Hilliard’s wife represented him during the Hearing. Despite the attempts to demean her husband and his complaint, Hilliard’s wife was persistent in her argument that the curriculum harms children.
During Citizens To Be Heard public testimony, many of the SHAC (Student Health Advisory Committee) had seemingly been recruited by the Board to appear and made comments that they were in favor of the SexEd curriculum.
Board Vice President, Sandy Winkley made a comment that she is Catholic and I don’t have a problem with the curriculum… And then she accused the complainant who is a practicing Catholic Christian of not considering other people’s religion.
Winkley, District 7 Madison High Cluster and two other Board Member, Omar Leos, District 3 Lee High Area, and District 2 Roosevelt High Area, Terri Williams are all up for re-Election on May 7. Each of these Democrat Incumbents each have at least one challenger in the upcoming non-partisan election.
Most of the Trustees at the time of passage nor the Superintendent had admitted to not having read the curriculum. They relied on their so-called Independent Consultant, San Antonio Metro Health Department’s advice. The City of SA’s Medical Director is none other than abortionist and past Medical Director of Planned Parenthood South Texas.
Past Board President, Leticia Bresnahan, Democrat and Planned Parenthood Supporter, appeared and testified in support of the SexEd curriculum to defend her past work to bring the “Planned Parenthood” affiliates’ proven inefficacious material. Since the time of being a Trustee, she has worked for University Health System which is the same entity that has a lucrative financial arrangement to oversee the implemented SexEd Curriculum. Current Board Member and Democrat, Terri Williams also works for University Health System.
The old saying goes that the devil is in the details. Once the details were exposed even before May 9, 2016, it was obvious that there was collusion to introduce the devil to young, innocent children as part of a progressive agenda.
