New Transportation Assessment Fee (Tax) proposed by District 9 Councilman John Courage

The new Transportation Assessment Fee (Tax) proposed by District 9 Councilman John Courage was not recommended currently by CoSA Chief Financial Officer Ben Gorzell as City Manager Sheryl Sculley favors an “Equity Lens” over “Rough Proportionality” to fund street maintenance and other social issues to come. This will lead to District 9 to pay an even larger bulk of the city’s tax revenue and get even less proportionally.
