NO FUNDS FOR VAX MANDATE
A group of Republican senators sent a letter to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-NY, expressing their intention to block federal funding for a potential federal COVID-19 vaccine mandate for businesses with more than 100 employees.
“We will oppose all efforts to implement and enforce it with every tool at our disposal, including our votes on spending measures considered by the Senate,” said Sen. Roger Marshall, R-KS, who is also a medical doctor.
It’s unclear if Republicans, who are in the minority, would be successful in blocking the funding.
