‘PRO-LIFE CATHOLIC’ FOR ABORTION

Sen. Bob Casey, D-PA, who had campaigned as a “pro-life Democrat” and claims to be Catholic, said Tuesday that he will vote for the Democrats’ comprehensive pro-abortion bill known as the Women’s Health Protection Act. The bill would forbid pro-life legislation in all 50 states, force taxpayers to pay for late-term abortions, undo all state protections for the unborn, and repeal commonsense legislation such as laws requiring parental notification when a minor seeks an abortion.

Casey’s previous record on abortion was mixed, but he defended his support for the radical abortion legislation Tuesday because he said “circumstances” have “changed.”
