Pro-Life Victory in Texas

The Texas Supreme Court issued a ruling Friday that ended a legal challenge by abortion groups to the state’s heartbeat law, which bans most abortions.

“There is nothing left, this case is effectively over with respect to our challenge to the abortion ban,” said Marc Hearron, attorney for the Center for Reproductive Rights, which led the effort against the pro-life law.
