San Antonio Rally and Alamo March for Life 2019

SAFA hosted the San Antonio Rally for Life and the inaugural Alamo March for Life on Sunday, January 20 2019.

January is a time to remember the importance of every human life as we commemorate the anniversary of Roe v. Wade when nine people on the Supreme Court decided that abortion should be legal throughout all nine months of pregnancy. With inaccurate information, incomplete medical data and false records, the SCOTUS decision made January 23, 1973 a day of infamy until the time all human life, born and unborn, is protected.

San Antonio Family Association sponsored the Alamo March For Life & Rally For Life to commemorate, contemplate and act for the protection of all persons. All San Antonians were invited to participate. Many of our local government leaders have bought the lies that the abortion business has told them. It’s time to stand up for life.

This year’s keynote speaker was the First Lady of Texas, Cecilia Abbott, a native San Antonian, who shared her remarks on life and the uniqueness of every human from day one of conception..

Other speakers were Fr. Will Combs (St. Mary Magdalen Parish Pastor), Cong. Chip Roy (District 21), Sen. Peter Flores (District 19), Carol Everett (The Heidi Group), Anne Newman (Author), and Pastor Steve Branson (Village Parkway Baptist).
